WHY?

'Why' was a short series I worked on with Toddler Fun Learning. Kids would ask why about something at the beginning of each episode and then the answer would play out in animation form for the rest of the episode.

We wanted to have each episode look like a pop up storybook come to life so I designed everything to have a paper cutout feel. I kept the animation simple and put more time into the design of the character expressions and making the sets have depth.
