In my spare time I've been chipping away at making a retro 3D platformer game with a good friend. The project has given me a great excuse to push my blender skills and learn Unreal Engine at the same time. I've mainly been working on the creative side creating concepts, models, rigging, animation and music (some of which can be heard in the above video, check out my bandcamp for full free tracks). I've also been dabbling into learning Unreal's blueprint system and C++. I've been enjoying doing more coding where I can as I've been finding a very transferable skill, especially with expressions inside of After Effects.
The game is still in the very early phases of production at the moment but I'm proud of what we have acheived so far. I'm excited to continue working on it and share more when the time is right.
