BIG CHIP

Big Chip's opening award ceremony video was a collaboration project directed by Flow Creative. The theme of the film was video games and each animator got to work on a different shot with its own unique genre and visual style.

My part of the project was based on the Metroid franchise. I wanted it to be mixed media. The background was a 3D model and the characters were 2D overlays. I did the 3D work in After Effects and the character animation in Adobe Animate. All designs used are my own.
